 The Judging

The Corescu Chronicles: Book One

Markus Corescu, a man of the cloth is violently transformed into a vampire, in Seventeenth Century Hungary.  For over three hundred years, he seeks out and attacks evildoers, convinced that he is doing the will of God. He calls this process, the Judging.  Flash forward to the present, when Corescu meets the lovely Hope Brannen who, by her innocence, causes the vampire to rethink his theology. Despite the protests of his immortal contemporaries and with the additional aid of seminary student Tony Agricola, Corescu will discover the true will of God. Still, just because his eyes are opened, does not necessarily mean that his ways are easily changed…

 Damascus Road

The Corescu Chronicles: Book Two

How far would you go to protect the innocent? Giving up your life to save a stranger is one thing, but subject yourself to constant torture in an effort to save people you've never met? This is the kind of man you'd find in Tony Agricola; survivor of Book One: The Judging. Tony will sacrifice his very blood so the town can sleep safe at night. Would you?

 Tree of Life

The Corescu Chronicles: Book Three

It has been forty days since the indomitable and insatiable Paul Black pushed the vampire’s curse on former seminary student Tony Agricola. Tony’s mission continues as now he seeks evangelist Sarah Tracey who the vampire may have tainted before his deliverance in Book Two. Struggling against bloodlust as well as the very devil that turned Mark Corescu in the 17th Century, Tony has his hands full completing the task set before him. Mark Corescu continues to back him up whenever possible, but he has his own troubles as Hope becomes increasingly difficult to please as she falls further off the path of righteousness.

 Anathema

The Corescu Chronicles: Book Four

Tony is in trouble. Newly married to evangelist Sarah Tracey and still waiting to be delivered from the curse of bloodlust thrust upon him a year earlier, he disciples a young man who stumbles into their nightmare by inadvertently attracting the attention of a vampire from Corescu’s distant past. Tony’s dilemma arises when he gives in to the bloodlust that he knew would taint his soul. He is forced into seclusion to repent and calls on reformed but not yet redeemed vampire Dr. Mark Corescu to watch over his family while he is gone. Mark has his hands full with more selfish than ever Hope Brannen who has moved into his life full-time and demands every bit of his energy. When she wanders too far from his side, she makes several poor choices and ends up in the biggest pickle she’s yet encountered. If she’s not careful, she may wind up dead. Anathema wraps up the Corescu Chronicles series.

A 200-year-old curse.  A set of triplets born dead—only to live and die again every twenty-four hours.  Salvation is the blood of the next victim. Anathema, the light of the sun. The Scriptures say the fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Willamina Stowe, au pair to a wealthy but evil aristocratic dynasty in 1800’s London, is such a person. A simple nanny willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure at least one of the triplets is saved. “The first born belongs to You Lord. I give my life that they may live.” But two centuries later, through young Jewish Believer, Leah Styner, the first born is given a second chance. With the unlikely aid of movie actor and part-time Rabbi, Noah Miller, the Almighty will get what He came for. Angels, devils, mortals, vampires; the Scripture stands: the first born belongs to God. And in the end, God always has His way.
